"Tabee" or "we" refers to Tabee Networking Limited, with its registered office in Hong Kong. The services we provide are the joint efforts of us and each of our branches, affiliates and partners across the globe.
"You" refers to registered users of our products and purchasers of paid services.
"Our Products" include software products and services in connection with the software products we provide. Our products include Subsee, Tabee, PDF Scanner by Tabee, Expanse RTS and Royal Solitaire Associations.
I. Statement
We continuously improve our privacy practices. As our products and services expand, we may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Please review it regularly for the latest version.
II. Scope of these terms
You can use our products in various ways. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information and what measures you can take to protect your privacy. By using our products or services, you consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our products. If you have already begun using them, please stop immediately.
This Privacy Policy answers the following questions:
- What kinds of information we may collect and why we collect them;
- How we use information;
- The choices we offer you, including how to access, update and control your information;
- Your obligations regarding privacy protection;
- How we keep your information secure.
III. Types of information we may collect
1. Why we collect information
We provide services through websites, software and other applications. We collect your information only to improve your experience of using our products, make our products faster and more useful, and deliver information you need more accurately.
2. Categories of information
Information generated while you use our products falls into two categories, based on whether you are identifiable:
- Identifiable personal information — information that may be used to directly identify, trace, discern and determine your real identity, such as your name, email address or phone number.
- Unidentifiable personal information — information that may be related to you but cannot be used to directly identify you, such as records of how you use our products.
IV. What information we collect and how
1. Information you submit
(a) Registration information
When you register a Tabee account, in order to identify you and facilitate contact, you provide accurate information such as an email address or mobile phone number. You understand and agree that, under necessary circumstances (for example, to close your account), we may identify you based on your registration information, to prevent any other person from using your identity fraudulently and affecting your normal use of our products and services.
(b) Data you upload
Data information you upload while using our services may include personal information of others. You guarantee that you have obtained the necessary authorization to upload such data, and you'll configure proper settings to prevent leaks that could harm the rights of others. You will not make related information public without authorization. Tabee will not disclose the data information you upload to the public without authorization.
2. Information we collect while you use our services
To provide better services, we may record and analyze how you use them, including hardware model, operating system version, system activities and other device information, IP address, account sign-in or sign-out, advertisement clicks and other log information, as well as Web Beacons or Cookie information.
V. Access to and update of personal information
You may review or change your personal information, but for security reasons you must do so after logging in. If your personal information changes, please update it promptly through your account.
VI. Closing your account
You may contact us to close your account. After closure, we are no longer obliged to keep or provide the information under your account. Within 30 days of your request, all personal data will be deleted.
If you want to terminate your account, please send a request from your email address to [email protected] or tap "Delete Account" in the in-app profile settings.
VII. Privacy settings for your information
You understand and agree that information you make public may be browsed, reposted and commented on by other users. You may protect your critical information by adjusting your privacy settings.
We suggest you complete the privacy settings for your information to avoid risks; otherwise you will be deemed to have accepted the default settings we provide. You understand and agree that, because some of our services include social networking features, the default settings may make your personal information visible to others in order to improve user experience. To change a default setting, do so on the relevant service pages.
VIII. Use of personal information
By using our products, you authorize us to collect and process your information. We collect and use your information to operate and improve our services — for example, providing user information services, avoiding repeated entry of identical information across products, and tailoring content to your preferences. We use your information, but results may be inaccurate, so you should exercise your own prudent judgment when relying on it. You agree that we are not liable for accuracy of such use.
We may contact you based on your personal information — for example, sending product updates or service information to the email address or phone number you submitted for registration. You may opt out of receiving such messages. Even after opting out, we will still send essential service emails (for example, notices about changes to service terms and conditions).
Information we collect may be stored and processed by servers operated by Tabee, its affiliates or service providers, which may be located in different countries or regions as required by the services. If we use your information in circumstances other than those described in this policy, we will obtain your prior consent.
IX. Unsolicited correspondence
If you make your contact information publicly available, you may receive unsolicited messages from other users, such as emails or SMS.
X. Sharing personal information
Unless otherwise provided here, we will not share your personal information with any entity other than Tabee or its affiliates, partners or solution providers without your consent. In particular, we will not sell, lease or otherwise distribute your information. Some of our services are provided through cooperation with these companies; you consent to our sharing your information with them solely for the purpose of providing the corresponding services. Such companies only use your information for those services. We safeguard such information by entering into confidentiality agreements or including confidentiality provisions in our contracts with them. During your use of relevant services, those companies undertake the same responsibilities to protect your information that we do.
XI. Disclosure of personal identity information
We respect and protect your privacy and undertake not to disclose users' personal identity information to any third-party institution or person except as set out in this Privacy Policy, unless:
- You agree to publicize your personal information;
- The information is required by law, governmental or judicial organizations;
- Disclosure is necessary in an emergency to protect the lawful rights and interests of Tabee or other users, or to protect public security and the public interest.
XII. Privacy protection during bankruptcy, sale or merger
If we sell the company's assets, merge with another business or apply for bankruptcy, the information we collect in operating services may be transferred as part of our assets. The resulting company may continue to use this information as required by applicable laws and as provided in this Privacy Policy.
Our mobile apps use performance and analytics technologies from various providers. When you use a Tabee service, these tools collect install and event data such as device IDs and user data from our iOS and Android mobile apps and our web control panels, helping us understand how users interact with our apps and optimize and analyze marketing campaigns. These tools use your IDFA or Google Play Services ID and your anonymized (hashed) IP and MAC addresses. The hashes are one-way, and it is not possible to identify you or your mobile device individually.
The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the analysis and improvement of our mobile advertising campaigns. Your data is not transferred transnationally except as needed for service provision.

XIII. Information security
We use various security technologies and measures to protect information and data stored in our systems against unauthorized access, use or disclosure. For instance, the secure channel for information you send through our products or website is protected by TLS (Transport Layer Security, the successor to SSL) with 2048-bit RSA and 256-bit AES encryption. Information stored on the server is safeguarded with AES-256 encryption, a bank-grade security standard. Specific technical measures are adjusted from time to time alongside technical and business development.
We will use our best efforts to protect the security of your information, but cannot guarantee perfect security given the complexity of the internet.
XIV. Remedies for disclosure of secrets
If you discover that your personal information has been or may be leaked, please notify us promptly. We will use our best efforts to take reasonable measures to offer assistance. If we discover possible security risks (for example, system vulnerabilities), we may contact you via your registered email or by posting alerts or announcements on our website.
XV. Privacy terms applicable to minors
We pay great attention to protecting minors' privacy and data. We cannot identify whether a user is a minor unless we are expressly notified. If we are informed that a user is a minor, we will neither use their personal information nor disclose personally identifiable information to any third party, unless to provide necessary and emergent help or to assist government or judicial authorities.
If we learn that we have unintentionally collected the personal information of a minor, we have the right to take reasonable measures to delete it from our records as soon as possible.
XVI. For users from different countries
Tabee protects privacy and personal information by formulating this Privacy Policy in accordance with law. For users of this service in Mainland China, the laws of the People's Republic of China apply; for users outside Mainland China, the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China apply.
XVII. Risks and exemptions
If your personal information or privacy is disclosed due to any of the following events, we will use our best efforts to remedy or assist you, provided that you agree we are not liable:
- Information disclosed due to computer viruses, trojans or hacker attacks;
- Personal information provided as required by law or relevant government authorities;
- Personal information disclosed because you shared your password or your registered account with others;
- Any other leakage of personal information not attributable to Tabee.
XVIII. Amendments to this Privacy Policy
We may adjust the scope of collection and use of information as our business develops and as laws and policies change.
If we amend this Privacy Policy, we will notify you or post an announcement on our website. You can decide whether to continue to use our products. If you do not agree with the amended Privacy Policy, please immediately close your account and stop using our products.
